Although most Pat Dailey songs were his own this one was written by the immortal Shel Siverstein I would suspect for Pat since he also co-wrote many other Pat Dailey songs.

Okay, I'm hooked. There was a fellow here in Wilmington who claimed to have written this some years ago, and it was put on a CD anthology of kick-ass Wilmington writers. Was that Pat Dailey working under a nom de plume?

This was a cover of a Pat Dailey original. I wanted some friends on a guitar players website to hear Pat's wonderful writing, but the song had too much blue language to present in it's original form. I took the liberty of "cleaning up" the lyrics so a group including children could handle it. Pat never published a video of this great song. I think his version is funnier and sounds much better.
