Certain of the larger Superliner passenger cars you see on the Texas Eagle do have sleeping rooms. In this video, they are the first two passenger cars behind the locomotive. Those on the Ann Rutledge never had sleeping accommodations.

P42 155 headed up the westbound Amtrak Ann Rutledge, running from Chicago, through St. Louis and Kirkwood, to Kansas City.
