8mm movie footage shot with my Bolex H-8 camera and telecined to video. First we have AMTK 155 leading the westbound Ann Rutledge through Kirkwood, MO. Then we have AMTK 166 leading the northbound Texas Eagle through Cliff Cave County Park along the UP DeSoto Sub in south St. Louis, MO. Lastly, we have a UP mixed freight led by UP 1963 along the DeSoto Sub. I love the look and feel of film!!

  • Certain of the larger Superliner passenger cars you see on the Texas Eagle do have sleeping rooms. In this video, they are the first two passenger cars behind the locomotive. Those on the Ann Rutledge never had sleeping accommodations.

  • P42 155 headed up the westbound Amtrak Ann Rutledge, running from Chicago, through St. Louis and Kirkwood, to Kansas City.
