The recipes in "The Champagne Taste/Beer Budget Cookbook" did make dating affordable during a long bachelorhood. I wish the computer hadn't eaten my first cookbook for bachelors, "Champagne Brunch: What to Do when You're Over Forty and She's Still There in the Morning." The best dishes from that one are included in the new book.
