Thank you for posting this. My late father participated in Operation Castle, died thanks to it. One line from this I remember him repeating for years, you hear in this documentary, "They are waiting for us to die." So sad, so true, and so disgusting. Indeed, the Hibakusha people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki know this lesson well. Just as surely as all 300,000 Atomic Veterans (including my father) know they are the government's best-kept-secret when they were quickly deemed "expendable" by Uncle Sam's nuclear weapons testing programs.

Heartbreaking. I grew up near the Nevada Test Site, 1,192 atmospheric tests between 1948 and 1964, with one test a month, sometimes multiple blasts per test, the first 4 years of my life. The tests, all thousands of times more powerful than the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, continued underground until 1994, and displaced millions of tons of highly radioactive dust into the atmosphere. everyone in my home town either has died of cancer, or has an immune system disorder.

Notice how she uses the term 'GROUND ZERO' this was ONLY used for Nuclear detonations. Post 9/11 the definition was altered to cover up the 150Kt hydrogen detonation of the Twin Towers.

My father was one of the Marines who was in the trench less then 2 miles away from ground zero. They told them the radiation would be no worse than having an x-ray, don't look directly at the light and if you go blind it's just temporary. They placed the Radiation film badges on them and as it says in the video, the government said every reading came back with a "SAFE" amount of exposure. MY FATHER was a guinea pig for this country and died of cancer.
