  • anybody attempting this needs to be careful... try not to do this on carpet, or if you do, make sure you are grounded so there is no static electricity in you. also make sure all of the energy is completely gone from the capacitors in your computer, (just hold the power button for around 5 seconds) i'm kind of upset that he didn't mention any of this. there are a couple more things i should mention... but just google this stuff and you'll learn a bit more.

  • Don't you have to disable your old graphics card first then install the new? I need an answer fast please!

  • :O old dell computer! nice dude! miss those!

  • which graphics card did you installed in your pc nerdishtech. plz tell me .

  • @peanutbutterdawg yes, I have ddr2 ram, and a ddr5 graphics card.

  • i have a flat pc

  • @Jmerino7 never use the cd that comes with the card, always go tot the website, or install year old drivers.

  • @P0in7B1ank easy, do you have a laptop or desktop. Does your motherboard have a pciex16 slot. If so buy the 5570 card and install, and before you go the window menu, you go to the bios when the computer starts, and uninstalled the 4200 chip software. Then once uninstalled put the video driver cd in and install like any other program you do. Then you're done. PS go the manufacturer website for ati and dl the latest driver. That installing a card and uninstalling a chip.

  • to upgrade from a ATI Raedon HD 4200 to a 5570 gimmie all the steps please?

  • Y have a pc that old?

  • @rapturjesuss maybe you have to pull or nudge it a bit
