@OpelGTC here is the "correct?" info from wikipedia 33 MiG-23BN, 12 MiG-23MF, 1 MiG-23ML, eight MiG-23MLA, 21 MiG-23MLD and 15 MiG-23UB.

If i'm not mistaken the MiG-23 is a fighter-interseptor. The MiG-27 was mostly used as a ground assault aircraft :) But this info is second hand so... :)
