Analysts are saying this guy should have been in the top 10 but was not drafted because of knee problems

I can't believe how much of a steal this guy is starting to look like. He's been a lot better than many of the players in the 5 up or down from his draft position (Perron is a notable exception at the moment)

How can you say who was the better pick when they arent even 20 yet? besides 2 spots in the middle of the first round isnt much.

The draft isn't perfect.
I really hope Backlund plays next year. The Flames have some pretty bad salary problems.
