"Cody" from Mogwai, from the album "Come on, die young", 1999.
Lyrics: Of all I knew, her held too few.
And would you stop me, if I try to stop you.
Old songs stay 'til the end.
Sad songs remind me of friends.
And the way it is, I could leave it all
And I ask myself, would you care at all.
When I drive alone at night, I see the streetlights as fairgrounds
And I tried a hundred times to see the road signs as Day-Glo.
Old songs, stay till the end.
Sad songs, remind me of friends.
And the way it is, I could leave it all
And I ask myself, would you care at all.
its LOVE,thank you:..)

@pentalway It's based on a very brief image that appears in The Exorcist, go search up Captain Howdy in Google

This isn't technically rare, it's part of a Peel session, of which you can find on the "Government Commissions" compilation album, I would highly reccommend everyone go out and buy a copy of it as it is bloody amazing

@pentalway I walked by that album a few times when it came out at the local music shop. I had never heard of Mogwai and I bought it because of the album cover itself. Glad I did that. At that point they became one of my favorite bands.

Mogwai. Laughing in the face of sorrow since 1995.
