This is a song about Honolulu, Hawaii written by the singer-songwriter Greg Irwin and Japanese composer Akira Yuyama. It was originally a Japanese song entitled "Kaze o Kudasai". The original version talks about remembering one's hometown, especially the gentle breezes.

After I was asked to translate this song, I was riding on the bullet train in Japan on a dark, cold and dreary day in May. I remembered Lei Day in Hawaii and the great times I used to have with my friends at the Waikiki Shell on May Day. Then these words came pouring out of me. It's my tribute to Honolulu, and I think it speaks for many of us who long to return one day to the islands. This song is available for download on iTunes. www.gregirwin.com
