You know its funny. I remember hearing his "Live" album as my first sounds and impression of him (heard it in 1990).
When I first heard this album, I couldn't stand it, because I was more into Breathless style at that point (which of course didn't come out until 92).....now, I like this more upbeat style, but could do without the weird electronic keyboard kinda solos, although Lorber is still fantastic. A shame how Arista 'formed' him over the years. But I do respect his true talent too.

yeah when i first heard this album i liked it a lot because its before Arista got him doing ballads and such......on his first 5 or six albums he was at his peak

Well he says he is through with arista for good now and is contemplating if he is going to stay with Concord Records or not

Where did you hear that and why would he not stay with Concord? Perhaps he'll start his own? He's already marketing Kenny G Golf products now, who knows. He may become the next musician to go business.
