by any chance could u post the understudy night version of this scene as im curious to see how the filming came out, it sounded amazing when we were performing it, so i can see if i wanna buy the dvd for that night.

I just added the thursday night show. Remember I can't get the entire stage in at one time which is why my camera movement is so jerky back and forth. I think the Sat Matinee show was actually the best of all the shows cause the audio and lighting were cleanest (except for occasionally) and there were the fewest mistakes at that show, but not a large enough audience. Just my opinion.

Hello all AMT'ers. I have removed all the negative comments because I want this to be a happy site, not a combat zone.

You are all talented, wonderful, kids. I know things don't always go the way we want, but let's just be happy with the moments where we feel we shine, and allow others to have the spotlight when it's their turn, and understand their disappointment when they are being overlooked...we've all had those moments in life...and we'll all have them again.

ok that was a mess that tony sang marias part and maria sang tonys part and what the heck was up with all the girls in west side story it is just the jets the sharks maria tony and anita it made no sense to have those extra people and the end was touchy

This is a hot ass mess, there are too many people. And at the end it sounds very mumbled. But the notes at the end were correct, the G' Above Treble Clef on the top of the 5th line.

It is a big cast because the theatre is good here for a public high school, or for anywhere, for that matter-good direction and some good voices. Where is this that there is a budget for a proper high school theatre production?

Holy cow, the cast is massive! There are WAY too many girls in this scene, IMO. But I liked the freezing thing

i think yanndick is right...the name on the c.d. is "tonight (quintet)"

Actually, it is called the reprise of tonight. The one with maria and tony is just called the balcony scene.
