Positive mutation for resistance to HIV

Aronra's outstanding series, foundational falsehoods of creationism is under attack from dishonest creationists! Here is a brief response to one of their arguments.

While I am a supporter of AronRa, and I agree with what you said. Showing your point off as a card trick (I am also a magician) makes it come off as gimmicky and tricky.

Wrong, Duby made two glaring and key errors in this section and as someone who cares about the truth I took the time to point them out to him.

4) He then points out correctly that the mutation provides resistance to only one strain of HIV but goes on to erroneously conclude, “So much for the HIV resistance.” This is mindboggling stupid. His statement is the logical equivalent of the following; some resistance does not equal all resistance; therefore some resistance equals no resistance. This is the specific piece of stupidity that led to this video Juby must think people ar stupid to try and get that one through.

3) However Juby makes several mistakes, firstly the assumption that a genetic deletion represents a loss of information. The type of new information upon which evolution acts is new phenotypes not stretches of DNA. If a deletion event creates a new phenotype then it has created new information for evolution to act upon. In this case there is a new phenotype, therefore there is new information regardless of the method of its creation.

Aaronra, undoubtedly made several mistakes in his video, none of which he made up. However since the Juby video AaronRa released a video admitting his mistakes but defending himself When Juby was wrong, which is exactly what any honest person would do when confronted with their mistake.

2) However, you have made a baseless claim against thousands of perfectly honest decent people without offering a shred of supporting evidence. Since I am sure that you do not want to bare false witness, I repeat my earlier question, Perhaps you could refer me to a single textbook and one lie from within its pages. If you cant demonstrate that the text books are full of lies, then please stop dishonestly claiming so.
