"I.. cant," I whispered to no one in particular.
I cant make this. I cant humiliate her this way. Elina narrowed her eyes at me, and took the cake in her hands.
"Im out," I whispered in her ear, and walked away. I dont want to be there when that happens. Yes, I know I was the one that planned it, but looking at her, it was impossible to make it.
Suddenly, I heard laughs coming from behind me.
It happened.
I kept walking, until some guys went to me and spun me around.
"Dude! Look at her!" they exclaimed in between uncontrollable laughs.
And there she was.
Sitting on the floor.
Her clothes, her hair, everything was covered by cake.
I looked at my surroundings. Everyone was laughing at her. Pointing her.
Brittany wiped her face and looked at me.
I took a hold of her eyes in pain.
It killed me.
And I had to do this in order to keep my cool.
I faked a smile, and humiliated her more.
The bell rang again, letting us know it was time to get to our next classes.
"You coming dude?" Josh asked me, referring to our next class which we had together, while a smile played on his face.
"Yeah, give me a moment, Ill catch up."
"K man," he sat and patted my shoulder before walking away.
I stood there, watching as Nick and Erica helped her get up. Brittany and Erica walked again into the cafeteria, probably going to the bathroom.
But Nick was coming my way.
"Really Joe, Really?" he said, but sounded more like a question.
"What are you talking about dude."
He rolled his eyes and got closer to me. "Is this what you wanted? To humiliate her?"
I pushed him a little by his chest, "Chill out, dude. Its not like I threw the cake on her," I defended myself.
"It was all your fault. I know you planned it. You know what? If you dont want her, leave her alone. Stop making her life difficult. She doesnt deserve this, she doesnt deserve YOU," he clarified, poking my chest. "Shes way too good for you. Youre making a fool out of yourself along with the two-timing whore. Youre so fake dude, youre repugnant. I dont even want to call you my brother."
At this point, his eyes were filled with pain and anger. "I hope youre happy with this, douche. Get out of my fucking way."
And with that, he pushed me and walked past me.
And I was left alone in the hallway.
Not even my pride with me anymore.
Its just me, and the remorse.
Its just me.
And I hate being me.
At this time, theres nothing I hate more than myself.
