Stevia: the plant with a sweet secret

Sweetness born from a leaf, not in a lab. Meet the stevia plant. The proud parent of our new natural sweetener. People have been sweetening foods and beverages with stevia leaves for hundreds of years. The taste comes from a natural ingredient in the leaves called rebiana.

Rebiana is what gives Truvia™ natural sweetener its clean, honest sweet taste. Simple. Who knew going green could be so good?

  • @FictitiousMinds Its not manufactured using ethanol....

ethanol is used to extract steviaside, its soluable in alcohol, then the ethanol is dehydrated off leaving

    100% stevioside behind.
