ethanol is used to extract steviaside, its soluable in alcohol, then the ethanol is dehydrated off leaving

100% stevioside behind.

I think its pretty awesome that you guys made this natural sweetener. where does the stevia plant originate from? why just recently was it discovered as a sweetener?
