I knew a ton of friends and family were gonna watch and probably repost, but I had no idea this would get picked up so fast by so many sites. @johnmurdockonline In OWS, how can you discover and address any cause when your own "medical tents" personnel are as willing to oust the offending member as they are to admit they have a problem? If there is a comparison to draw, it is in the people who would exert their power over others in order to maintain their image. Such people shouldn't be hailed as heroes when they are little more than trespassing vagrants.

@johnmurdockonline It is not common to find drug dealing, gang activity, vagrancy, vandalism, and sexual assault within such a short period of time among such small numbers of people. Setting up camp in a park for months on end is the quickest way to attract the people who have nowhere else to go, which includes plenty of people with criminal backgrounds and other unsavory elements. In each group you mentioned, secrecy, fear and alcohol could explain cases of assault.

@Triundi There is rape in every group of people on earth, from the Catholic Church, corporate America, football games, hell, family reunions. You can define an overwhelmingly peaceful movement by a very few filthy apples, if that makes you and your ideology more comfortable. @johnmurdockonline However, in both cases, there are people whom some of these "peaceful" participants are sexually abusing. This is not a peaceful demonstration. To call it such while people are raping one another is laughable.

@johnmurdockonline Your rebuttal is simply that--a reply. It doesn't contradict what I said.The fact of the matter isn't complicated. Police forces consist of more than one person, The Occupy movement does as well. In the news, there are stories of some occupiers who resist police involvement, citing their ability to self-govern, and there are also stories of police neglect in the face of legitimate complaints.
