Finally! The Better Beer Authority is swimming in their comfort zone. Natty Light was the go-to beer in college and now it makes a return appearance on the show. Find out whether this group of semi-reformed BMC (bud, miller, coors) drinkers gives it the thumbs up or thumbs down.

Hi. My name is James Knott and this is the Better Beer Authority. Today we are drinking my go-to beer from my college days -- Natural Light. This fine beer is brewed by Anheuser Busch which was bought by InBev in 2008.

Nicknamed Natty Light, it has 95 calories per 12 oz serving and the brewery claims that when it was released in 1977 it was their first reduced-calorie light beer. You can find out whether your beer is fresh by checking the famous "Born On" date on the box -- they suggest drinking it within 110 days.

It is an adjunct light lager made with corn and malted barley and lightly hopped with a blend of American and imported hops. It is 4.2 percent ABV and best served cold in a lager or pilsner glass -- that is if you are too uppity to drink it out of the can.

It is consistently one of the Top 10 selling beers in America.

I'm neither a college kid nor do I belong to the NASCAR crowd. In fact I brew my own beer at home and have been a fan of craft beers for over 9 years....nevertheless I'm not above enjoying a natty, old milwaukee, olympia, busch, colt 45, mickey, or keystone on a hot ass day, after sex, or after a hard day at work. Why? because although I enjoy complexity in my beer, I still enjoy the simple inexpensive things in life and I realized my shit does stink after all. fuck beer snobs.
