Tribute to the Beauty of CSX Horns!

This video shows some of my favorite horn action while I was trackside videotaping CSX trains. All horns are included in other various videos throughout my Youtube account. I had fun making this, I hope you guys enjoy it. The photos shown while the horn is playing match. Just to give you an idea of what I was looking at while the horns were playing in real life. Anyways, hopefully you like this!

you can actually tell CSX AC6000s by their paint schemes. that paint scheme on 616 and 682 with the grey background and yellow CSX lettering was applied exclusively to AC6000s. and most of them remain in that scheme. however a handful have been repainted into the YN3 scheme, but not many. lets hope it stays that way, i like that scheme.

AC60CW's - my favorite units on the CSX roster. Many of them have been stored, but a select few are still about. You are correct - that paint scheme was unique to the AC60 series. The only YN3 AC60 is the 651. There are also three YN2 AC60's (blue letters) - numbers 633, 666 and 667. 699, 5000 and 5001 are "Diversity in Motion." 659 has a Diversity in Motion door on the engineer's side.

@grovestreetgman, your right, 7337 is ex-Conrail. The K5HR24 however was added by CSX. It most likely originally had an RS3L.

the K5HR24 is ex-conrail (i think), since 7337 is an ex-conrail C40-8W (high-mounted lights give it away)
