There is Thomas Enhco, just turned 21, plays for years his own beautiful music, great piano, and violin. If he would be American he would be very well known by now. But he is French. His first CD came out in Paris, when he was 16, it is superb. His second CD came out in July in Japan, it is also beautiful.

i've been at his concert 2 years ago in the city in italy where he come from among the walls of an old castle. it was fantastic and he is still one of the best guitar player

i think i know what you're saying.
jazz is mostly about improvisation....a genuine expression of the musician's ideas and feelings if you will..... now, how would that expression sould like if he's there for an "easy-money" reunion tour/album/dvd?
