what's the difference between the eri-seoi-nage and morote-seoi-nage?

@ironkb57 The difference from the standard form comes from the fact that Tori (from a right handed point of view) grips Uke's right sleeve with the left hand and grips the right collar by inserting his fingers inside the collar.

I'm just a beginner at Judo, so I'm wondering, isn't the right hand supposed to grab the lapel? Or isit because he's left-handed or something?

Try placing your forearm under the uke's armpit, sort of combing you hair while throwing..

This is very informative, and you break this skill down to each step which makes it easier to learn.  But, I am wondering, can you perform this throw in a self defense situation where you and the attacker are wearing street clothes, or is this throw only possible if the people are wearing a gi?? Can this throw be performed at the beach where people are shirtless?
