The shaking is not exaggerated. It's a death trap! XD

It's probably unwise to give my location on the internets. Let's just say I'm closer to Parliament Street than Sherbourne. BTW, they fixed the elevator and installed a new button panel. Now this is the best elevator out of the three.

Hey thanks. I'm still alive. BTW, it seems this elevator hasn't been serviced since the building was built (~1960's). The landlord announced that they will finally fix all the elevators--the other ones are funky too. So I had to capture the hilarity before it was too late.

Is too much high power elevator and too hard of the single brake elevator. What death trap down level floor like a whacking lift like this!!! Good to vid.

Reading the most recent posting, sounds like the elevator has not been dealt with at all. Still being used by tenants of that building? I don't understand why it's not been red-tagged. With that loud noise coming from the machine room and erratic braking there's got to be major trouble with the machine and possibly the controller.

Is very noise elevator like big fan machine in below floor inside the elevator. Bloody crash brake on the level 8 then until level 1 dead trip single of brake elevator. Needs fix-it elevator motoring or replace old single brake motoring with new double brake motoring. Is will be safe and very safe brake elevator is smoother better than this! But this is really whacking a death tripping and shaking elevator like a bounce ball!!!!

some forty years this elevator had not been serviced or maintained once? This was a disaster just waiting to happen! Sounds like the owner(s) were negligent in keeping the property in good repair. The other side being elevators are

inspected at least every 2-3 years, with this elevator in poor and unsafe

operating condition this should have been discovered. An inspector would have

almost certainly "red-tagged" shut down the elevator until it was propertly

repaired.

SHOULD NEEDS UPGRADED THOSE ELEVATOR ANYWAY. What wrong with the lift brake so hard? That will could be died down to the ground floor. Next time should other lift if normal.
