From fluttering hearts to fluttering wings: Washington, D.C. area resident Nate Mathis proposes to his girlfriend Kristen Moore in the Live Butterfly Pavilion at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. Mathis and Moore were among the first to visit the permanent exhibition -- officially known as "Butterflies + Plants: Partners in Evolution" -- on the eve of its public opening on Feb. 15.
