Obviously our midfield is awesome but sometimes I feel we play about with the ball a little too much in midfield just passing it about but when Anderson gets the ball, he actually drives at the defence with great pace and I love to see that. He should start on Wednesday against Barca IMO, I love him he's awesome.

It's a shame that people think not scoring a goal makes you a bad player. Are people that ignorant now that they see things so black and white?

You can contribute to a team without scoring goals, and Anderson does just that. He makes playes, he passes brilliantly, he weakens defences, and he supports strikers.

Yet he's shit just because he hasn't scored a goal for us yet?

@SamuelMoseleyIsFreak 7 in all competitions. He never needed those goals though. It isn't his job primarily to score goals. It's great that's got some under his belt, but it's a shame that people were basing their judgement on his lack of scoring. Only strikers should be judged on how many goals they score, because they're the ones whose job it is to actually find the net. But yeah, Anderson has shown that he can score goals too, which should have shut up all the smug doubters.

@mufcgal01 Yea but even a new world class midfielder won't help us win the champions league in my opinion, i think barcelona are too far ahead and even though every body has off days barca's off days are a 2-0 win instead of 5-0 haha. No but seriously they have so much experience and one of the best players ever aswell as xavi and iniesta in midfield, but yea this new look united team is looking brilliant with all these new youngsters!!!!

I still think we need a world class midfielder to make a difference, especially in Europe. I think we are benefiting from the young players in our team, they're bringing urgency and freshness and that's spreading over the whole squad. I think Anderson & Cleverley work well together in midfield, but what happens when they don't play well in a game? I hope people don't criticise them when that happens. But we're playing fantastic right now, best group of young lads in a while.

@mufcgal01 what do you think about united's midfield now? the whole team is playing a new style, quick passing, nice flicks, pass pass pass teamwork rather than previous seasons where we would pass it to a winger and he would run at the defence and cross etc. I love the new style of united and im glad cleverley and anderson are a part of it!
