Flowers On The Sky: A Film by M.G.R FTI, Chennai

All birthday's need to be celebrated! Raising the awareness of new mothers, the first birthdays of children in Tuticorin were celebrated by getting a big slice of cake and a complementary birth certificate! With health, education and nourishment set high on the agenda, these women are symbolic of the high levels of awareness in rural communities about basic needs of children.

This is the entry from K.Raju, R.Sivan and M.Kabildev from MGRFTI Chennai in the Creating Happiness film competition, that documented the changes brought by Vedanta's community initiatives. This movie was shot at Sterlite Industries in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.
