@pinojerry Well as with most music it's quite open to interpretation, and there have been a fair few different ones posted thruout the comments here.

My personal interpretation is this is a song from a Son to his Mother expressing his love and gratitude for the things she's done for him over the years, that she'll always be in his heart, and telling her to no longer worry about him as he moves forward in his life.

My friend commit suicide two months ago now. This song popped up in my suggested videos, and I remembered how before he died he said he'd lend me all his Iron & Wine CD's since he thought I would like them. I completely forgot until now, listening for the first time, and am sitting here crying from a combination of sadness and how beautiful it is. I do like it Rob, and I miss you, and listening to this makes me feel close to you, so thank you.
