My Cape of Many Dreams (Meng de yi shang 梦的衣裳) (1981)
Starring: Shirley Lui Sau Ling, Chin Han, Kenny Bee

Summary: Chin Hans character meets with Lui Sau Lings character and convinces her to help him put on a charade for his grandmother. His beloved sister, Sang Sang has killed herself in America and it would break his grandmas heart to know of it. Because she looks and acts like his sister, he wants her to pretend to be his sister for the year as thats how long his grandma is expected to live.

Lu Xiulings plays her role well, convincing the grandma. But then she meets Kennys character. Kenny and Sang Sang were deeply in love before she was sent to America. Kenny doesnt know at first that shes an imposter. But along the way, she starts to get confused about who she likes: Chin Han or Kenny.

** I dont like this movie very much because its kind of disturbing to me that Chin Hans role would fall in love with someone he thinks looks and acts like his sister. Just for that reason, and the fact that I like her better with Kennys character, the ending was not very satisfactory to me. (I wanted her to be with Kenny.)

The songs are nice in here too Ive got a couple versions of the songs, will upload them later.

I think both guy's are kinda ugly, but that was the 80's. My problem with Kenny is that if you love someone you would know if that person was a fake or not. I think the main girl should have dumped both guys and found a hotter man.
