  • If you are enlisted and then go officer at your commissioning ceremony can you wear the ribbions you had as an enlisted Marine?

  • @Future0331 - Absolutely, you earned those ribbons

  • @kefer123622 It's boot camp for officers. I haven't been there, but it's probably not a piece of cake. They don't treat you like shit, though, I would assume.

  • Great video. 02-12 here. What's the background music in the second half?

  • @cfig24 USNA has some pretty hard guys too. In my experience, you can't usually tell USNA from OCC. If anything, you can tell PLC from OCC - they are younger, their OCS experience is spread out, and they typically have been hanging out in their mom's basement since graduation.

  • Looks like some good ole USMC training... actually some outstanding training from the video! But here's my question: Where are all the DI's? I'm sure some TBS Instructors are hard-dawgs, but what about Officers that went USNA & then arrived at TBS, compared to those that went OCS then TBS? Does anyone notice a difference in discipline & bearing between the two? Either-way a Marine is a Marine - I'd just like to see USNA Officers get a good feel for MCRD somewhere in their training. Where is it?

  • @lookoutrainbows I graduated from USMC OCS this summer, and they treat you like the "fat disgusting" things you are...ALL the time...lol. It's fun though

  • butter bar, butter bar, don't you know, Marines aren't made in Quantico

  • Time Between Saturdays. Rah!

  • I always wanted to know how they train.

  • @assroaster93 Yes but you will get one chance as an officer if your enlisted you can try as many times as you want. Officers are made to keep going when the times get rough therefore you should make it your first time.

  • Great video! BOC 03-01
