This video highlights a recent finding showing that our ideas of expanding space and the big bang are wrong.

A published paper on the subject:
The Discovery of a High-Redshift X-Ray-Emitting QSO Very Close to the Nucleus of NGC 7319
Pasquale Galianni et al 2005 ApJ 620 88-94 doi: 10.1086/426886

A strong X-ray source only 8'' from the nucleus of the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 7319 in Stephan's Quintet has been discovered by Chandra. We have identified the optical counterpart and show that it is a QSO with ze = 2.114. It is also an ultraluminous X-ray source with LX = 1.5 × 1040 ergs s-1. From the optical spectra of the QSO and the interstellar gas of NGC 7319 together, we show that it is very likely that the QSO is interacting with the interstellar gas.
It's not the big bang theory that is wrong, it's the notion that it happened from nothing that is wrong.

I don't think that we (people who aren't scientists in any of those fields) know enough, to even suggest that we better than the real scientists in those fields do.

@huntingboy2 You are not creating energy when you are taping on a desk. You are just transporting kinetic energy from your hand to the desk.

@sallybaker1950 No, Einstein did not believe the big bang was crap. Jesus Christ, are you really this ignorant? The big bang theory is BASED on relativity, for goodness sake.

@sallybaker1950 You've managed to fit in so much ignorance into the space of a few sentences, I'm not even sure where to start. First, yes, gravitational fields can cause redshift, due to the photon travelling upwards through a gravity well and losing energy. There is no such thing as electric redshift, or at least nothing that isn't speculative. Secondly, The Hubble Constant is derived from observations of redshift due to the expansion of the universe. He never said only speed causes it.

@BlankVellum Red shift and Hubbles law are to different thing. Electric fields and gravitation also cause Red Shift. Hubbles law says only speed causes redshift. Wrong. His one great discovery was the Universe was not one galaxy.

Einstein believed the Big Bang was crap. He just got tired of fighting.

@tommymonsternz wrong again trying, try finding some legit info and come back to support your already pointless argument.

@thesimulacre Why would you say Hubble Law is incorrect? Especially in light of the recent observations that confirm it to ever higher precision?

WHAT! no big bang creationizm? no spooky action from no-where? FUCK the laws of conservation are true? NO! NO! NO!
