Ron wants to see the O-Trains retained, and used to cross into Gatineau, Helen thinks otherwise. The O-Train service shouldn't even be stopped, but expanded.
If anyone should be blamed for our problems with commuter rail today, the blame should be squarely on Jacques Greber from the NCC in the 1960's. That idiot ruined Ottawa's chances of having a great transit network in both Ottawa and present day Gatineau by removing the train tracks from the surrounding area and "beatifying" the Nations Capital in his own twisted way. And to think Gatineau has a street named after this loser?
Thanks Jacques Greber for your stupidity! You dumbass!
The O-train is garbage! Ottawa needs to have "real" commuter trains operating across the city on an east-west axis. "Real" being EMD engines hauling double decker commuter cars on existing tracks. Not some dinky operation from Lebreton Flats though Carleton U. to Greenboro. Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Phoenix, L.A., Seattle, Miami, Dallas all have great commuter rail services in place.
