The Hebrew word Moshiach in the Jewish scripture is NEVER translated as Messiah in any Christian translation (besides Daniel 9). The reason is becuase Messiah is NOT a translation it's just an anglocised way of saying Moshiach. The translation is annointed.
Many things and people were annointed.
The Bible NEVER uses the word "THE Messiah" refering to a future Messianic King. If you think otherwise please post the verse.
