a few reason why he was probably not recognized.

people there dont watch boxing. and boxing is usually shown in subscription channels like HBO and people are not going to extra to watch HBO. and there are like a 1000 divisions in boxing and each having world champion in the world kinda gets dull. (insert random boxer) is the world light weight or world heavy weight or world welter weight or world cruiser weight.

if a 1000 guys are world something its like who cares

no, the reason why hbo doesnt show the klitschko fight is , that their style is tooo BORING. NOONE especially no american wanna se how Klitschko jabs for 12 rounds, americans prefer watching exciting fights like manny pacquaio or mayweather or cotto......

well, I am not saying that Klitshcko might not have beaten a primeTyson...I can't say he may have, would have definitly been a better and harder fight then the fights Tyson had in the 80's. But to argue that it means something that Williams beat Tyson, when Tyson was shot is fullish...as Fullish as to argue that Berbick was a greater champ then Ali because he beat Ali at the end of Ali's career...that was my point.

well in fairness....tyson was well past his prime...so losing to danny williams doesnt really count...i if that means a prime klitshcko is better then a prime tyson, it also means williams is better then a prime tyson (using your logic..if the fight ment what you seem to imply it ment) of course Ali is often considered to be the greatest....but ali, at the end of his career...did lose to treavor berbick, who lost to tyson...who lost danny williams...so danny is greater then Ali....by your logic
