@thismindofmine No, I don't want to nerd talk, I wanted to troll a nerd. :P

Awesome! I enjoyed it very much.

@pigeonfingers Congratulations. I'm proud of you. Did you need a break before? Do you think pointing out a fact I already know gains you any ground in this discussion? All it really points to is you conceding. And that's fine. If you don't want to talk nerd talk, don't. Don't even start. If you want to, though...in the future? Bring your A-game or sit it out.

@thismindofmine Star Trek isn't real. Star Wars isn't real. This video isn't real. It's all fake.

@pigeonfingers Also, the ship had to be empty. Impulse or sub-light speed makes the Enterprise a lithe and agile ship, despite its size. Every ensign that has ever sat at the Comm would be capable of performing evasive maneuver, even in a planet's gravity...so...yup. I'll give you that. The Death Star could blow up a Starfleet vessel if it were an empty sitting duck. Could it do it without destroying the planet beneath? No. I'd say no.

@thismindofmine I guess the shields were down... gimmie a break.

I wish that happened everyday

@babylon218 The issue is that the cruiser blow up in Jedi and even the Death Star it self use lasers. Even the Death Star's main weapon is a super-laser. The Enterprise has metaphasic shielding, which allowed it to fly into a sun's corona and survive for a good time, long enough to lure a borg ship to follow and be taken out by a solar flare. I seriously doubt the super-laser would get through the shields, if damage them at all. Phased energy is used for damaging shield. Lasers are useless.
