Barry will occasionally 3barrel bluff. Look up vid of him vs Vanessa Sheblst in the big game. But all DN can beat is a bluff and maybe kq. Barry is not betting that much o. River with a hand like tptk

@bierbuik Because he wants to make himself believe that the worst possible Aces-Up in that spot is maybe the best hand.
Sometimes you think there's a 95% chance you're beat, in which case you should obviously fold to a potsized bet on the river. Then you start imagining situations which are preferable for you but which just aren't very realistic.
Like, in this case, that Barry couldn't possibly have a set or a straight.
Or AK. Or AQ.

@VicenzoV he considers other hands too and he probably knew what he was up against, it was a crying call. but when they are on tv, it sucks to be bluffed, especially with aces up, it would look terrible if he folded to a bluff.
