Friday Night Lights - Tim/Tyra - In The Sun

Sort of an open letter from Tim to Tyra. After they break up, he realizes all she was to him and that it was never so much about Lyla as it was about jealousy of what she and Jason had. He goes to tell Tyra but finds she's moved on, and only has good wishes for her, thinking she deserves better than him. But is Landry good enough for Tyra? Tim comes to the conclusion that maybe he's not everything he claims to be.

Edited in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Windows Movie Maker. Song is Joseph Arthur's "In The Sun."

Hey. If I recall correctly, in the Landry and Tim scene, they're really just talking about the book Landry was tutoring Tim about and stuff. The dialogue's an overlay from the Matt/Landry scene in 2x15 where Landry was telling Matt that Tyra does amazing things in the bedroom. The "I think he's really cute/you should give him another chance" is what it looks like- Tyra's mom telling Tyra to give Tim another chance. This is really beautiful. I love Landry and Tyra together, but I loved Tim and Tyra first and am still a supporter of them despite the changes in both characters' storylines. I believe that she loved him and in his own way he loved her. Beautiful video that brings back a lot of memories :)

Thank you! I really want to like Landry/Tyra, but whenever I start to, Landry does something like planning a sexy car ride full of aphrodisiacs right after she was almost raped or bragging about how she is in bed. Tyra's main storyline is about proving to herself that she won't let men walk all over her and use her like her mom has, and she sees Landry as safe, when the truth is he isn't perfect. I feel like with Tim, even if TnT are a trainwreck at times, he's never less than 100% honest w/ her

I love Tyra, I love Tim, I love this song, and I absolutely LOVE your video. Amazing job:)I'm not a fan of the Landry/Tyra pairing AT ALL:( and although I love Tim I think Tyra can do better (and I only say that because he's in Love with Lyla,really what's he thinking???)Anyways I LOVED it and will probably be watching it again:)
