Members of Great Smoky Mountains Association joined naturalist Wanda Dewaard on a mission to tag and release monarch butterflies. These tags will help researchers with the Monarch Watch program learn more about the flight patterns of these butterflies as they wing their way to Mexico for the winter. And this was a fun way to spend the afternoon in Cades Cove.

  • @bcafotw Sorry, I think YouTube is acting buggy with your comments. One removed and the other flagged as spam. I manage this Great Smoky Mountains YouTube channel, and I have not done anything with your comments, so I don't understand what's going on. Sorry for any inconvenience! : )
