@chasmarzot I also tried Svetlana and Electro Harmonix, but the Gold Lions are the best.
For the 12au7 I would try Genalex or PSVane.
Triode gives less power, but I think it sounds better than pentode.

Do you use Genalex KT88 ? And is the amp in triode mode?

@gratisnepkut Yes it uses the Genalex Gold Lions, also 4, Raytheon 12au7s. The Ayon amp has triode and pentiode mode. The recording happens to be in triode.

@arungbuana09 Very little of my system was purchased new. Most of it was found on Audiogon or Ebay. At least if you buy used you can try something and then resell it if it doesn't work out for you.
