Why they do that from outside? Aren´t they zookeepers? And I mean, they are monkeys no tigers

I have been to/volentered in this zoo in real life. There are 2 cadges, an outside one, and an inside one for winter, but in the summer, they are allowed to go in either as they pleased (I saw them most in the inside one). this was probably shot in the winter, because they are not built for the Wisconsin cold, at in that time the must stay in the inside cage.

i agree with that but they should be in "nature-like" place, not in that prison
how do you know they don't mind being it? did you asked them?
give them a chance to choose a you will see where they prefer being at

It is not a "cage", since they dont seem to mind being in it, and the people there are treating them correctly. Those orangutans dont have much wild to return to thanks to humans, so I'd say stop worrying about them not being in the wild, and start thinking about preserving what is left of it, so that one day they can return.
