Very cool documentary! It was very interesting to hear the Soviet motivations for various design features. I was surprised that the video didn't mention the MiG-25's role as motivation for the F-15 and F-16; when we clocked that MiG travelling Mach 3 at Domodedevo in '68, yet saw its enormous stabilizers and wings, we figured it was both extremely fast AND highly maneuverable, so we spent a huge amount of money to build the F-15. Only later did we learn it weighed so much!
