Probably one of the best cover songs I have ever heard. To truly put your mark on a song previously done by another band is a very, VERY difficult thing to do, but Low has made this their own while paying homage. One of my absolute favorite Low songs.

Codeine's Atmosphere was also epic. You're right about JD covers. It's really a make-or-break proposition. A band either gets the emotion behind the song & nails it or they don't. There's no in-between.

It is an absolutely astonishing cover. I would normally say Joy Division are way off limits but this song and Galaxie 500's version of Ceremony are stonkers.
