It's the first song ("Prolog") of the Viennese, German-language musical Elisabeth, which is about the life and death of Elisabeth, the wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I. (This vid has Japanese subtitles.)

In this song, Lucheni, the Italian who assassinated Elisabeth, is questioned as to why he killed her, to which he responds that she wanted Death. He calls the long-dead members of the aristocracy and Death (Der Tod) himself as witnesses to support his case. (Wikipedia has more info!)
