  • On another question reguard the freeloader and Smash. I set the 60hz for my Wii using a RBG cable. Got Smash to play and it was red and black. Pluged in the wire you got with the console and it shows all colour fine. Just wondering are you using the HD compoant cable for your Wii in the video? Wondering if it works as it'll give a better picture and be in colour if so. I know my tv plays 60hz as I play a USA PS2 on it and play all 360/PS3 games in that mode.

  • yes im using a madcatz wii component cable

  • Wait, so to do that ssbb update you insert the wiifreeloader, then ssbb and do the update and then again wf and then again ssbb?

Or just put the wf twice and then ssbb? :p

  • read carefully:

Step 1 : Insert Freeloader,Step 2 : Eject Freeloader, Step 3 : Insert Freeloader, Step 4: eject Freeloader, step 5 : insert brawl. step 6 : update via disc channel

  • Hi, apparently when you first start Brawl (with the freeloader used) an update request pops up...

now im just checking, but you are meant to press "ok" right?

  • Yes you do

  • I think the prob is that you got an higher version. like 3.2 or higher. It only works at 3.1 cause nintendo sended a new update to get a kind of shield that the disk doesn`t work any more :S its a kind of hacking this.

  • Fuck. My wii keeps getting a black screen plus error message when we put the freeloader in. It used to work fine. What's going on?

  • i have to do a pin code y didnt u do one?

  • 5) install the update

this is too risky for me since my console can brick

  • SOLUTIONS IF YOUR BRAWL AIT DOIN SHIT 1.If you think your lens are dirty buy a memorex optidisc put into your wii and the dirt is. 2.If Your getting disc read error turn your wii to the side 3.Freeloader isnt working? try- 1) Insert Freeloader 2) load it 3) Eject Freeloader then put it in again, and let it load. 4) Eject the Freeloader and put Brawl 5) Install the update. 6) Let your Wii restart 7) Insert the Freeloader, let it load. Eject it, then put Brawl in. 8) Load brawl
  • do you need to have any update to play this

  • Oh, btw. As the question below, I'm gonna ask; If I then buy the real brawl, which is what I was planning, wont it screw up because it wants me to download an european update which will make an error, because I already downloaded the freeloader brawl update.. Long question.

  • Using the CD and installing the Brawl update will not make anything screw up on your wii, will it?

  • is an RGB cable the same as a SCART cable?

  • does version 3.0 work?

  • Yep, everytime.

  • i heard you gotta use it everytime

  • DO you need to use it every time you want to play a imported game or only once?

  • xD My Wii updated yesterday...I hope the freeloader will work

  • he said it did O_o

he also said it didn't matter if u had 3.1 or 3.2

anyway great vid! my freeloader coming in 2 days :D

  • Hey you lier - it DOES work with 3.2!

  • u could get all tangled up with the Wiimote 'n' numchuck

  • I'd say gamecube controller

  • both

  • not yet, but i wouldnt recommend buying any new games (they may contain updates) or updating your console.

  • rgb isnt screwed for me, and im using it.

  • Does the wifi function work ok?

  • I heard there was a new ware update that stops you from playing on the games using the free loader, anyone know if thats true?

  • RGB colors are screwed for everyone, since NTSC doesn't support it. I've heard of it working if you feed it through something like a VCR first though.
