@dsg82 Why do you say it is animal cruelty? You wish you had the life these horses have. Horses naturally do Pilaffe and Dressage in their paddock or in the meadow. I've seen it and they were not even trained.

I have seen these horses before. They were very fit and well groomed horses. They preform well as do their riders. If anyone ever gets a chance to go see them do it

@dsg82 you have no idea what your talking about.

Typo, Piaffe. I also forgot to mention it is not exactly easy to force a 2,000 pound animal to do these delicate moves and the animal must cooperate on his own volition.

Wow. I've seen these amazing horses live; it's truly breath-taking. They truly are the master of dressage.

I've only read about these performances... why I've never looked for a video like this before is beyond me.

Those horses are really preforming ballet.
Swan Lake fits in perfectly.
You made amazing job.
I just love this video.

Animal cruelty? That's like saying training a border collie to herd sheep is animal cruelty. It's something that the animal does naturally, only in these cases they are listening to cues from their riders. Lipizanners do just about all these moves as foals without any training, then they attend school so that they can perform in front of audiences (which I might add, the stallions I saw LOVED the applause.) These horses are the Kings of Dance, and they know it.
