Thats got a be one heavy ass boat to only run 38.5 mph with a 90. I've got a 15x52 alweld V La model with a 50 tohatsu and I get 39.1 mph with stock aluminum prop

Light aluminum boats can use all moveable weight toward the stern. If you put a higher pitch stainless prop on there you can trim up even more and get a higher top-end speed.
