Old Central low level station had 4 platforms, 2 of which are now a car park for the big multi storey office building on Argyle St, which are behind the north facing yellow wall, eastbound side, if you like! I worked on the re-opening of the station in 1979, and we used to walk along the full line towards Kelvinbridge and Botanic Gardens, when we were on a skive!!
why was this travelling through here? was this normal passanger service?

I can remember the old low level late 1940s early 1950s. It was a dirty smokey hole of a place that most people avoided like the plague.

There's an old low level in a slightly different location than the current one it closed down in the 60s i think

Yeah great Video must a been loud with the noise lol. Think they go that way if they have came up the west coast mainline past motherwell and that.
