Anyway correct me if I'm wrong but 7.8 is fast for any bike, nevermind one powered by an old series wound DC motor direct drive.
I'm sure he'll be braking this record soon as he rebuilds his motor.
He does this on a low budget, Just imagine what could be done by someone with money......
Can't be too stuffed off the line because the fastest it's EVER gone is 7.82.
You can hear Bill Dube in the video at the end of the run say he could see the motor was gone. They rebuild the motor after every meet by the sounds, this thing welds the brushes and has 'plasma events' all the time.
It runs 2 x Advanced DC X91-4001 6.7 inch motors originally rated at 55hp via a chain drive... they get 250hp out of each.
