I grew up in lauderdale, lived there 30+ years before moving to pa to be near family but its so cold up here i hate it so much! i am moving back in 8 months i cant wait! august 2012 florida here i come!

I grew up in ft.lauderdale and for some crazy reason i ended up in spartanburg sc. Always said i would come back to fla and now i just turned 40 and thinking real hard about moving back. Ive been everywhere since leaving and florida is the most beautiful place in the world. @dannycis461 You lucky thing it must be lovely,all those swimming pool partys,i used to work on the qe2 and we would sail into fort lauderdale,and we used to go to a club under a hotel where you could look up to people swimming above,very different.

I am 22 years old and went to fort lauderdale 44times lol!!! I would love to move there eventually instead of always flying down from canada twice a year all the time!!
