I think that Wyclef seriously messed with her emotions and heart. She tried to express it with "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill", but I dont think it helped. Wyclef is jealous because he was the first member of The Fugees to make a solo album and it wasnt that hot, but when Lauryn wanted to make one he wasnt feeling it. He turned his back and that CRUSHED her. Would it crush you?

I actually think Wyclef is responsible for Lauryn Hill going into exile. He played with her emotions and caused her to break down while The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was made. That whole fame displeasure I dont believe. She was famous during the Fugees.

i dont know what it is, but sumthing is holding her back from coming back to the spotlight and putting out another album. it could be frustrations with the industry, maybe she's afraid she wont top herself (miseducation album), or maybe she just wanna chill wit her kids and fam rite now. but i kinda feel like its a mixture of her going thru alot back in the day with fugees and still goin thru alot. maybe she just not liking music industry people and dont know how to deal wit em nomore.
