And Medieval 2 works perfectly for me too at highest quality.
only ETW and STW have this problem.

@Hjernespreng my medieval 2 total war and empire total war and my napoleon total works beastly really good i play it with the highest quality and no stopping or freezes nothing it runs smoothly.

Nah, all that is top-notch on it. But the newer total war games don't work. It gets to the title screen, and then freezes the entire computer. With Shogun 2 total war, it doesn't even get there.
I can play Assassin's creed Brotherhood, Crysis 2 and Call of duty on the highest settings with ease.
