@juju00001000 First saw Pat Benatar at a sold out arena concert in 1983; same year saw Joan Jett at Six Flags. Sorry, I liked the "hard rock" side of Pat, her powerful voice, and Spyder's guitar solos. Joan is too "punk rock" for me. I guess it's a matter of taste. Also loved Pat's softer side and ballads. Songs with meaning that are timeless. Both ladies are lovely and actually friends. Who does this with "male" rock bands? Like there can't be two great female chick rockers.

@thehomas86 Mine too! Before MTV I heard Pat Benatar on the radio but didn't know much about her. In 1981 when MTV first aired I then SAW Pat Benatar. Bought her other two albums and by time 1983 rolled around made it to see her "Get Nervous" tour! My YT channel is now devoted to her collecting everything I can especially TV performances from other countries we were never privy to seeing in the States! Never to miss out again!
