Rattling Bog ~ Trad.

Firstly, I apologise for the length of this song, but that's the point of it really. If you do decide to watch only a bit of it, I'll understand, but watch the last verse rather than the first verse unless you decide to scrap it all together - in which case why would you be reading the 'More Info' section?

This is an Irish folk song that Becky and I used to sing in the car on long journeys when she was a little girl. When she was over the other day, we decided to sing it for old times sake. I don't think either of us has sung it for a few years so I was surprised we both remembered it. Just for devilment, I added a couple of verses at the end - I shouldn't have because I think I suffered some permanent brain damage from the subsequent hypoxia sustained as a result.

Needless to say, I was hot, sweaty and out of breath at the end of the song and Becky, gallantly, pretended that she found it difficult too.
