  • If i take a look at that picture, first of all i see two soldiers. Not two americans. A comrade who is trying to bring his wounded buddy to safety. But to make things even worse they are mostly about to be overrun by a tank from behind.

A true "desperate Moment" - as the song title says.

And just to let me get this straight: I am german. And my beloved grandfather died 30 Years after WW2 from the long-time effects of his woundings...

  • Now is not the time to give up

    i can´t die here

not before i make sure to burn the feeling of absolute fear into their minds

    one last strike

may the universe shiver under my battlecry

  • @xxXToushirouXxx your comment gave ME shivers! :)

  • @TheAkrael My grandfather was a medic in WWII, didn't know what he'd gotten himself into, mostly. He told my dad he once saw an American soldier forcing a german to dg his own grave at gunpoint, and he just kept walking because he was too scared to speak up. That is the saddest thing he ever said. He wished he could go back and stop it.

  • @TheAkrael Even for our enemies in misery—there should be tears in our eyes.

  • Definitely looks like Saving Private Ryan XD

  • @Belmont2500 Matter what the

  • @Scootlez It doesn't whatthe soldiers' nationalities are, you fool.

  • He's saying any there not just soldiers but friends and comrades that help each other to the end. At least that's my view on it.

  • theakrael , their obviously american due to the ranger tab on the sleeve...

  • And yes, my great grandfather was in both WW1 and WW2. He fought in the same fields in both wars. He was a machine gunner in WW1 and a commander of an M36 slugger. He has 8 kills given to his crew. He left in 1945 after his tank was shot by an 88. He lost his leg, and his driver and gunner were severely injured. His radio man was instantly killed in the second blast from the ammo rack blowing up.

  • @TheAkrael Same as well. My grandpa was in WW2 as a Filipino Guerilla Fighter and one of my great uncles was an American Pilot of the P-51 Mustang and was shot down by the Germans and became a POW.
